Dedjoeng Wane is a lesser-known surf spot located on the southern coast of Sumbawa, Indonesia. The wave breaks over an uneven, sharp reef, producing fast and occasionally hollow right-handers that can run between 200 to 500 meters, especially on a solid south swell or during the off-season when small swells and northwesterly winds prevail. The spot works well at all tides, offering long rides when conditions align. Access is somewhat challenging, with no parking or facilities available, which helps keep crowds low and maintains a laid-back vibe. While hazards like shallow reef and strong currents remain, there are no pollution concerns, making it a rewarding destination for experienced surfers seeking uncrowded waves amid natural beauty.
