Cobblestones is a consistent reef break located near the southern coast of Sumbawa, Indonesia, near Lakey Peak. The spot features both lefts and rights breaking over a combination of cobblestone, reef, and sand, offering mellow, flowy waves with soft roll-ins and long, rippable walls ideal for playful turns and carves rather than barrels. It works best with mid to high tides and south to southwest swells, and offshore easterly winds help keep conditions clean. Cobblestones is more user-friendly and less intense than nearby breaks, making it suitable for surfers seeking a forgiving, less crowded experience. Access is by a short walk from a dirt road or a quick boat trip from Lakey Peak, and the break is exposed at low tide. Respect for locals remains important.

Relaxed and uncrowded
It is a 45 minute walk south from Lakey, a short ride south of Lakey Pipe, or a five to ten minute boat ride from Lakey Peak, and that walk is exactly what keeps the crowd away.
Cobblestones picks up more swell than the Peak and handles solid size at mid to high tide, so it is the call on a day Lakey Peak is small or maxing out.
The rights wall up on one side of the channel and the lefts barrel into it from the other, so pick your side before you paddle out.
