Dana is a renowned reef break on the southern tip of Rote Island, next to Dana Island, Indonesia, favored for its long, powerful left-handers as well as occasional right-hand waves. The spot works best during the dry season when southern swells and easterly winds align, producing steep take-offs and occasional barrels over sharp, shallow coral reefs. Access is only by boat from nearby villages such as Nemberala, adding to its remote and secluded charm.
