End-of-chain right at the south end of the Taghazout point lineup, fickle and fast with the most punch on N-leaning swells.
Panorama Point is the southernmost right-hand point in the Taghazout chain that runs north from town up to Anchor Point. It breaks over an uneven mix of reef and sand and rewards the more north there is in the swell. Pure W swell tends to make the wave race off and leave surfers behind sections, while NW to N groundswells let the wall hold up long enough to link into the inside. Most rides are short sprints of around 100 metres before the wave shuts down on the inside, though the takeoff is steep and the better sets serve up tight hollow sections through the bowl. The break sits in front of Taghazout town, so paddle out from the corner of the beach or punch out and drift down with the current. Numbers are usually lighter than at Anchors or Killers because the wave does not always link cleanly, and progressing surfers tend to gravitate here when the headline points are crowded or too big. Best on a mid to high tide with a NE offshore cleaning the faces.
