Hash Point is a forgiving right-hander that breaks directly in front of Taghazout village. The wave is shaped by how the sand banks line up against the rocky inside, peeling slow and crumbly with well-covered, slopey faces that suit learners stepping up from the beach and longboarders cruising between sets. On small swells and a pushing tide it wraps onto the rocky point, offering a couple of turns before tumbling into the sandy bay. Bigger swells break too far out across the straight sandbar and lose definition, so the spot rewards modest size over hero days. Sitting between Anchor Point to the north and Panoramas to the south, it acts as the village's everyday option when the marquee points are oversized or maxing. Random rocks studded through the inside demand a careful look from the cove before paddling, and parking is roadside on the village strip. Crowds gather at peak season but the wave's forgiving nature keeps the lineup mellow.
