Jack Beach.

Jack Beach is a long sandy stretch on the Dar Bouazza coast west of Casablanca, breaking as shifting peaks along the bar with both lefts and rights. The bottom is pure sand and the wave runs well-covered and medium-paced rather than hollow, producing 50-100 metre rides that suit performance surfing more than barrel hunting. It picks up nearly every W through N swell on offer, ranking as one of the more reliable banks in the area on consistency, but the open aspect means the lineup blows out fast once the onshore fills in. Solid winter groundswell from the north-west delivers the cleanest size, ideally backed by a south-east offshore. Access is straightforward beach walk-on with no formal car park, lifeguard, or facilities. The beach rarely sees a crowd outside contest weekends; when nearby reef breaks at Dar Bouazza, L'Inter, and La Bobine are firing they pull most of the local surfers away, leaving Jack Beach quiet.
