La Bobine Surf Spot Guide — Central Morocco, Morocco

Dar Bouazza is one of Morocco’s most recognised pointbreaks, sitting just southwest of Casablanca. On enough swell and southerly winds, the main left wraps cleanly around the point, offering long, flowing rides rather than steep, wackable sections. The wave breaks over uneven reef, with rides running from the take-off at L’Inter through to the final section known as La Bobine. Lengths can reach 200–500 metres on the right day, making positioning and wave selection key. Best conditions (for most advanced surfers) arrive with W to N swells, S offshore winds, and low tide only. While visually inviting, the break demands respect due to shallow sections, rocks, and sea urchins. Dar Bouazza attracts a regular crowd and is best suited to confident intermediates comfortable on reef and longer rides. Facilities and parking are limited.
