Angled reef just south of Agadir firing long rights and short lefts across all tides on any decent W to N swell.
Anza breaks over an angled finger of reef that sits just off the beach a few kilometres south of Agadir. The reef bends incoming W through N swell into long, performance righthanders with shorter lefts peeling back into a beachbreak shorey on the inside. The wave runs fast and steep with shallow takeoff sections that boil and barrel on a clean low tide, then softens through the higher water as the reef goes deeper. It works on all tides and picks up most of the available swell, which is why it stays busy when better-known Taghazout points stay flat or onshore. An easterly land breeze is the standard offshore. Parking sits almost on the beach and the paddle-out is short, so access is straightforward, but the lineup fills with experienced locals on every good day and respect is non-negotiable. Water quality is the main caveat: stormwater drainage from Agadir empties nearby and the sand-tinted lineup turns brown after rain.
