Sidi Bouzid is a right-hand point break south of El Jadida on Morocco's central Atlantic coast. The wave wraps around an uneven mix of reef and sand, producing steep medium-paced walls in the 50 to 100 metre range with the bottom-up power typical of a welling point. It works through all tide stages and handles a wide size window from waist-high up to head-and-a-half plus, with W through N swells lighting it up best when a south-easterly offshore grooms the faces. Sitting just south of the historic Portuguese port city of El Jadida, the spot doubles as a summer resort beach and gets the most attention from June through September. A second beach a short walk along the shore offers a fallback when the point refuses to break, broadening the options on inconsistent days. Lifeguards patrol the main beach in season. The crowd reflects the resort traffic - busy on weekends and through the summer holidays, quieter midweek and during the cooler shoulder months.
