Sidi Abed.

Sidi Abed is a right-hand point set on a tombolo midway down Morocco's Doukkala coast, between El Jadida and Oualidia. The headland splits the bay: a rocky shelf to the north and a sandy lagoon to the south, with the wave breaking off the reef on the north side over an uneven mix of rock and sand. It runs shallow and hollow with a critical, vertical takeoff and short barrel sections, then walls along 50 to 100 metres before fading into the bay. The break needs SW to N swell to wrap onto the point, and a south-easterly offshore to hold the faces open. It fires across most tides but the inside grows shallower as the tide drops. Sidi Abed remains one of the quieter waves on this stretch of coast, picked up by passing surfers driving the Atlantic road rather than by any local pack. There is no infrastructure at the spot, and the nearest surf services sit further south around Oualidia.
