Pero Right is a high-quality right-hand reef break located on the west coast of Sumba, Indonesia. The wave is famed for its long, hollow rides and powerful sections, working best on mid to high tide. Swells from the southwest provide the most consistent and clean conditions, while offshore easterly winds groom the face. The reef can get shallow at low tide, making it hazardous for less experienced surfers. Local crowds are moderate, but peak season can see an influx of traveling surfers.
