Surf spot guide · Sumatra, Indonesia
Long, hollow left reef wave breaking in an isolated south-southwest-facing bay.
Lam Tadoh Lefts is a long, hollow left-hand reef wave on Pulau Nasih, also known as Pulau Nasi or Pulau Peunasu. The shallow dead-coral reef produces fast, high-performance sections with an inside that can become dry. It handles shoulder-high to double-overhead surf, with rideable swell reported from roughly 1.2-2.4 m and above. Southwest to south-southwest swells provide the best exposure, while northeast winds offer clean conditions. The wave is best suited to advanced surfers because missed takeoffs can put you onto a dry shelf.
