Treasure Island is a long right-hand point breaking over a shaped reef at Bangkaru’s southern tip. The few-hundred-metre wave has an almond-shaped, rippable face with up to four barrel sections and rides reaching roughly 250 metres. It is commonly surfed from head-high to double-overhead. South swells and a northwest offshore wind provide the best conditions, with higher tides preferred. The spot is suited mainly to intermediate and advanced surfers, although smaller waves can be forgiving.
