Hollow lefts and rights break over a rocky reef at Charrana’s Traffic Point.
Charrana, also known as Traffic Point or Tramontana, is a reef break over flat rock. It produces hollow left- and right-hand waves and is best suited to experienced surfers. The spot accepts southwest-to-north swells, with east winds providing the preferred offshore direction. Autumn, especially September through November, brings stronger swells, mild water and fewer people. Access is directly from the beach, but the approach road is poor and rocky.
