Capo di Feno delivers A-frame peaks over a mixed reef and sand bottom roughly 15km west of Ajaccio along the Route des Sanguinaires. The break handles a wide swell window from S through NW, and the resulting waves are steep and fast - often hollow on the rights, which respond best when NW swell angles in from the open Mediterranean approaches. The beach runs for over a kilometre and multiple peaks break simultaneously, so finding the best section rewards patience. Waves typically sit in the 0.6-2.4m range but the open exposure means size can build quickly, and when it does the power becomes serious - not a wave to underestimate during bigger swells or gusty conditions. Entry is straightforward from the beach, though rips run through the lineup and need to be identified before paddling out. The 30-minute drive from Ajaccio keeps crowds lighter than the quality would otherwise attract, and the area is genuinely uncrowded for most of the year. Parata Point, a few kilometres south, offers additional reef and point options worth investigating if Capo di Feno is too big or closing out.
