Sidi Kaouki.

Sidi Kaouki is a long open beachbreak fronting a quiet fishing village on Morocco's central Atlantic coast, well south of Essaouira. The main stretch is sand bottom and serves up a parade of punchy shifting peaks, with a small section of uneven reef pinning down the river mouth at the north end and the south end of the bay. Waves run medium speed with a well-covered, wrapping power and a crumbly to steep shape, so the takeoff stays accessible and walls offer room to turn. The bank holds shape on swells anywhere from SW through N as long as the wind hangs in the easterly quadrant; outside that window onshores arrive often and break the peaks down quickly. Consistency is solid for the region thanks to the wide swell window. Access is roadside near the village, with camping and free-camping common on the bluff behind the beach. Crowds stay moderate and spread out across the kilometres of sand, with Cap Sim a few minutes north for a right point alternative when the wind swings.
