Grajagan, also known as G-Land, is famed for its long, barreling lefts breaking over sharp reef within Grajagan Bay on the edge of Alas Purwo National Park. It offers several distinct sections, including Kong's, Money Trees, and Speedies, catering primarily to advanced surfers. The waves vary from softer, workable peaks at Kong's to fast, hollow barrels at Money Trees and intense, shallow tubes at Speedies, providing a range of technical challenges depending on tide and swell. The spot is extremely consistent during the dry season, with optimal conditions from April to October. Access is remote, requiring either a boat ride from Bali or a long drive through the jungle, surrounded by pristine national park wilderness. Hazards include strong currents, razor-sharp dry reef, and local wildlife, making it suitable only for experienced surfers. Occasional heavy crowds appear during peak season, while local surf camps offer basic amenities and guided surf access.
Razor reef splits into Kong's, Money Trees, and Speedies: each a separate barrel education.
