Figari.

Figari is a sheltered sandy beachbreak tucked inside the Baie di Figari on Corsica's southern tip. The bay's east side holds a mix of sand and rocks where small, crumbly peaks form on SW to NW swells, though the wave quality is generally soft and inconsistent - fun sections appear on the right day rather than as a reliable surf destination. NE wind blows offshore here, making it the most workable window, but the bay is primarily a playground for kitesurfers and windsurfers, and flat summer days dominate the calendar. Waves break across all tides in the 0.6-2.4m range with a medium pace and slopey, well-covered character - nothing remarkable, but serviceable for intermediate surfers wanting an uncrowded paddle. Further north at Portigliolo, another stretch of beach can produce a few fun corners when a solid W swell pushes in, even if conditions remain messy. Entry is straightforward directly off the beach. Jellyfish and sea lice are present seasonally and worth checking before paddling. Crowds are occasional rather than dense, a fair reflection of the spot's modest wave quality.
