Surf spot guide · South Central Coast, Vietnam
My Hoa is a powerful outer reef break with long, fast waves in Phan Rang, Vietnam.
My Hoa (Phan Rang Outer Reef) is a renowned Vietnamese surf spot famed for its long, fast, and occasionally hollow right-handers breaking over sharp reef. The wave is best suited to experienced surfers due to strong currents, shallow reef, and the need for precise positioning. The spot works best on a solid south or southwest swell and is most consistent during the windy dry season. Access is typically by boat from the fishing village, adding an adventurous element. Crowds are generally light, but conditions can get challenging when the swell picks up. Local hospitality is friendly, but respect for the lineup and reef is important.
