Kuala Bubon Lefts is a fast, short-peeling left breaking over a shallow reef ledge near the Bubon River mouth. The wave has a quick wall and a shallow inside section that can briefly cover up. It handles waist-high to overhead-plus surf, with SW to SSW swell providing the preferred setup. E to NE winds and mid to high tide offer the best conditions, while low tide exposes hazardous reef. This is an intermediate-plus paddle wave requiring local reef knowledge.
